Charlotte Coney is a photojournalist based in southern England, working between the UK and India. She covers breaking news, politics, protests, and public events across the UK while developing longer term documentary projects internationally. Her work has been published by the BBC, Channel 4, The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian, and Daily Mail, among other outlets.

In India, she collaborates with NGOs and community organisations to document projects focused on education, youth leadership, disability inclusion, and rural development. Working closely within village communities, her photography highlights individual experiences shaped by barriers to schooling, healthcare, and opportunity.

Her work takes a quiet, observational approach, focusing on the rhythms of everyday life and the environments people move through. Through long-term engagement, she explores how local organisations respond to structural challenges and how community led initiatives create tangible change on the ground.
