Cause to Connect Foundation

Cause to Connect Foundation is an NGO based in Maharashtra that empowers youth from rural and low-income backgrounds by helping them recognise their strengths through skill development, confidence-building, and practical education.

I spent a week with the organisation, starting in Pune at Hunnar Gurukul campus, documenting students working on their crafts from brickwork to carpentry and capturing the everyday moments that shape their learning. I then went to Sangli to document the Skills on Wheels programme, moving between classrooms and hands-on work environments. The photographs explore how education, craftsmanship, and mentorship become tangible pathways to opportunity, highlighting the dedication, curiosity, and resilience of the students.
